A recent visit to Malawi by Zeb & Emily Williamson was an encouraging reminder that lasting transformation is built through faithful local leadership and consistent community participation. Across each of our project villages, we witnessed growing confidence as families continue to embrace practices that strengthen both their land and their future.
In Kawiri, the community continues to make excellent progress. After successfully rebuilding their tree nursery for the second consecutive year, local volunteers are demonstrating remarkable perseverance and commitment to restoring their environment. The nursery will provide thousands of seedlings that will improve soil health, increase biodiversity, and contribute to long-term food security.
Aaron is equally inspiring. Compost production is progressing well, with farmers enthusiastically applying regenerative agricultural techniques that are already improving soil fertility. On July 8th the community celebrated, giving thanks for the progress achieved and recognizing the dedication of those who have invested so much in restoring both the land and their livelihoods.
At Isaac, our newest project location, the enthusiasm has been exceptional. Farmers have quickly embraced composting methods, and marker ridges have already been carefully established. These form the basis of burns and swales that mange rainfall. This eagerness to learn and implement new practices is laying a strong foundation for future success. Excitement is also building as the community looks forward to the installation of their solar-powered well, scheduled for October 2026, which will provide reliable access to safe water and further strengthen the village’s long-term resilience.

Gracelands
Emily Williamson writes: Our first stop in this remarkable country was Graceland, a place Pamela lovingly describes as “a school for children with different abilities.” Thanks to a generous donation of 50 pounds of shoes, we were able to bless many of the children there.
Pamela founded Graceland after the heartbreaking loss of her own son, determined that no parent facing similar challenges would ever feel alone. Today, despite having no permanent funding, she faithfully serves more than 200 children by providing nutritious meals, therapy, education, and emotional and spiritual support. Graceland is a beautiful testament to compassion, faith, and the transforming power of hope.
