COMPACT is led by dedicated teams in both Malawi and Canada, working together to ensure sustainable impact through effective project delivery, community engagement, financial oversight, and strategic governance.
Our Teams
Malawian Team
Compact Resource Foundation International (CRFI). CRFI is a registered charity in Malawi, with its registered office in Lilongwe. It oversees projects on behalf of COMPACT on an agency basis, supported by a written operating agreement, and ensures that there is adequate supporting documentation for all project expenditures incurred in Malawi.
Management Team
The Malawian management team works directly with villages in Malawi to hear their goals and needs. They also assess impact and manage relations with Malawian governmental agencies.

The board steers finances and high-level strategy within Malawi. They ensure that COMPACT's projects are adequately resourced and completed in a manner that best supports Malawian villages and Malawian businesses.

We are a Canadian Registered Charity. Our board and volunteers prioritize fund-raising, promotion, governance, regulatory compliance and strategic planning. Neither board members nor volunteers receive remuneration for their services.
